Hoo-bloody-ray!

We got the house!! All those magic crossed knitters' fingers did the trick ;) Thanks everyone!

We're signing our lives away and paying two weeks' rent tomorrow, and then will pay the bond etc when we get the house in about a month. Plenty of time to de-clutter and pack etc!

A friend has offered garage space to store boxes in, so I'm taking a car load over now - our place is small, and starting to look like a cheap cardboard maze! The double-handling will be worth it.

  1. Phew is right! Yay for getting the house. Now the fun begins. I think we should move, we've been in the same house for over 20 years. It's only during moves that I seriously declutter.

Have fun with your packing - maybe you should do a commemorative painting: "Still Life With Packing Crates"

  17. YAAAAY! Goodie, the next house will be luxury in comparison.
Of course there's always the possibility that the next owner of the house you're currently in will have preferred a tennant rather than moving in themselves! That's what ahppened to Philip and I when we were in Melbourne.
